san francisco restaurant week 2017

As San Francisco's Restaurant Week 2017 approaches quickly, I've been doing a lot of research on the best spots to go and snagging some reservations of my own. For those of you who don't know what restaurant week is, it's an annual project put on by the Golden Gate Restaurant Association to keep the industry booming. Participating restaurants (nearly 130 this year!) offer discounted prices for set tasting menus throughout the 12 day period that Restaurant Week runs. There are set lunch & brunch menus ($15 or $25) and dinner menus ($40 or $65).

Some restaurants are better than others, some give you more bang for your buck during the week, and some are just too touristy for you to try, so I wanted to share my research and choices with all of my favorite foodie followers!

I hope everyone takes advantage of eating out during restaurant week this year! It's a great way to try restaurants around the city without completely breaking your bank - much cheaper than normal, plus you usually get to try 3-4 things on the menu too! Let me know where you all end up making reservations!! Would love to hear in the comments section below!

Next, check out my 2016 Restaurant Week post, as a lot of the restaurants I listed last year are are participating again this year!
