Happy holiday season, everyone! You know what that means - it's holiday card time! I’m still utterly shocked December is already here. This year is flying by. Wanted to follow up on my last holiday cards post where I shared 10 of my favorite designs from Minted this season. This time, I'm sharing the design we used from Minted’s 2016 holiday card collection. Minted chose 3 winners from the giveaway I did with them for The Urbanite Insight followers – congrats to @meredithmalcolm, @mrsfiercenfabulous, and @alli.funk – you should have a note in your inbox from Minted to claim your $100 gift cards if you have’t already!
As many of you know (because I’ve made it VERY clear through my many wedding photo posts on social media 😉), our wedding was the highlight of our year of course, so we wanted to focus our holiday cards on it! I was overwhelmed by how many cute newlywed designs they had for us to choose from - it was so hard to pick just one! Joe and I are all about simplistic/minimalist designs when it comes to stuff like this, so we went with a single photo in black and white and a pop of color with the words! Here's the design we chose for the card.
I already had most of my contacts that I’m sending our Christmas card to in my Minted address book, so it was super easy since Minted prints the addresses on the envelope for you (for free!) Since they were already in there from our save the dates, it didn’t take any extra effort on my end, which saved me hours of manually handwriting the addresses. I love how the envelopes match the card theme too!
We also ordered some custom stamps – red with a white “P” for Peters! Our first family Christmas card is something we’ll always remember, so we had to include all the fun and pretty details. These are the stamps we went with.
I have ordered from Minted many times before, but I’m always so impressed by how fast they get delivered and the high quality printing of the card itself. We ordered on a Friday and they came the following Thursday, so if you’re still planning out your holiday card, you still have plenty of time to order and get them out in time!
Wishing you and your loved ones a very happy holiday season!
