With holiday season coming up, gifts have been on my mind. Gift giving is something that I get so excited about! I always want to find the perfect gift for the person who I'm buying it for, and get so excited to give it to them that I can hardly wait (and usually ask if they can open it early...). For giving gifts to someone who lives out of town, a lot of stores offer gift wrapping and shipping directly to the recipient. Typically I use Nordstrom or Amazon to do this. Whether it's a friend or family members' birthday, a Christmas gift, a housewarming gift, or a gift "just because," finding good gift ideas can be difficult! Some of my favorite gift ideas for all types of gals are shown below.
Most ladies love to have their apartment or home smelling great! I love when a friend comes over and complements how my apartment smells, which makes me love my variety of candles even more! Voluspa candles are my all time favorites. The Goji & Tarocco Orange is one of the best scented ones they offer, in my humble opinion. They come in all different sizes ranging from $8-35 and are a great gift for ladies of all ages. You can never have enough candles!
Jewelry is another gift that is loved by most! With jewelry, you've got to have a good understanding of the person's specific style, and whether they prefer gold or silver (or a two-toned combo!). One type of bracelet that makes a great gift and typically costs $28/bracelet are Alex and Ani bracelets. Most people have these already, but the great thing about these is that they look best stacked and combined with 3+ bracelets at a time. See one of my new favorite styles below:
For the career-focused lady, a journal or notebook is the perfect gift. Kate Spade and Lilly Pulitzer are two of my favorite brands for notebooks, journals, and agenda books. They often come with cute patterns and quotes. See two of my favorites below:
For the active friend or family member, something sporty may be the best way to go as it's definitely practical. Trendy water bottles are very in right now, and to be honest I'm totally sold. I recently purchased a Hydro Flask water bottle and it has changed my life. I've been doing hot yoga at Corepower lately, and it's so refreshing to have a sip of ice cold water in the middle of class, without it getting warm by the end of the hour. It keeps the water cold for 24 hours! Other things like ribbon hair ties or headbands are good for stocking stuffers too. A little bit less exciting, but more practical idea is a fast drying towel that's great for those who workout before work and have to lug their towel around during their day.
Hope these ideas help you shop for your girl friends, bosses, sisters, mothers, aunts, cousins, etc. this holiday season and throughout the year! Please share if you have any more ideas. Happy shopping! :)
